Diya Mehta is a Program Associate at Panorama Strategy, bringing a background in international gender policy, community-centered research, and intersectional advocacy.
Prior to joining Panorama, Diya supported constituent services and communications at the DC Council, where she built partnerships and coordinated responses across government agencies, community members, and private partners. She has also worked with gender equity, refugee resettlement, and global women's rights organizations, developing expertise in women's political participation, gender-based violence policy, and international advocacy. Through her work, she has conducted field research in India and Jordan to examine honor crimes, legal frameworks, and women's safety.
Diya holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality studies from The George Washington University.
Outside of work, Diya enjoys baking sweets, reading novels, and traveling to new places.
